  • BoatShare by d’Albora is similar to a golf or tennis club membership — but on the water. Members pay a monthly fee to enjoy full use of premium vessels without any of the ownership responsibilities. The program is professionally managed at Soldiers Point Marina, with each vessel maintained, insured, and kept in excellent condition for every member’s use.

  • Each member receives a set number of guaranteed boating sessions per month, plus access to additional time when available. Sessions can be booked in advance or arranged closer to your preferred dates, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

  • Yes. Evening bookings allow overnight stays, with access from 6:00pm until 10:00am the following morning.

  • BoatShare by d’Albora ensures fair use for all members by evenly distributing weekday and weekend time allocations. This means everyone enjoys a balanced opportunity to book their preferred days.

  • Yes. Members can book additional sessions when available on short notice, giving you more time on the water when the vessel isn’t in use.

  • Each vessel is shared by a limited number of members to ensure everyone receives ample guaranteed boating time each month.

  • There is a one-time joining fee, which includes your induction and onboarding session. This training familiarises you with vessel operation, safety systems, and marina procedures before your first booking.

  • BoatShare by d’Albora manages all maintenance and repairs. If a vessel becomes temporarily unavailable, members will be notified and alternative arrangements made where possible.

  • No. Your membership covers all running costs, including insurance, berthing, cleaning, and maintenance. The only additional expense is fuel usage.

  • Our vessels are equipped for comfort and performance, featuring GPS navigation, autopilot, electric windlass, bimini and dodger, galley amenities, refrigeration, and full safety equipment certified to maritime standards.

  • Members are asked to tidy and rinse the vessel after use. The BoatShare by d’Albora team provides regular professional cleaning and maintenance to ensure each vessel is presented in excellent condition for the next member.

  • Fuel is charged based on usage. Members pay only for the fuel consumed during their session, with rates clearly outlined before each booking.

  • All members agree to a Code of Conduct that promotes safe and respectful boating. Members who breach policies may be fined or have their membership reviewed.

  • No prior experience is required. New members can complete induction and training sessions with our qualified instructors to gain confidence and boating competence before independent use.

  • Yes. Your membership can be shared with a partner, friend, or family member. You’ll share the same monthly allocation of boating time and can enjoy trips together or separately.

  • Yes. Members who wish to transition from shared access to full vessel ownership can discuss available options with the d’Albora team at Soldiers Point.
